«Cunning.»
“The greatest events—they are not our loudest but our stillest hours. Not around the inventors of new noise, but around the inventors of new values does the world revolve; inaudibly it revolves.”
1 Morality and immorality: that is what revolves around the creator: for us, the earth is a stellar morality.
When Nietzsche speaks of «cunning,» or of being the first immoralist, he is not speaking of morals, not speaking of the peripheral, but of the source, of creativity, of that around which we revolve: in this respect Nietzsche has been most badly read
2 Whoever inhibits the creation of values «turns” into an incontinent creator: that is how conspiracy theories begin in an age like ours, when «the old values are no longer enough» and we are in labor pains creating the “new» ones. The world turns false to him when he does not want the world to revolve around him.
3 We remember what we conceive; its duration is twofold: the capacity for creation is universal, and in turn, its works endure, depending on the nature of the enframing structure with which it conceives.
That is: the duration of the work «in itself» depends on the duration of the materials with which we conceive works (conceiving a painting with clouds is not the same as doing it with a stone wall); but creativity is more durable than its works.
4 The human being has a double gravity: not only his brain, but roots that cling to the sun and partake of that stellar nature; at the same time we want «what the earth wants»1(structure of emplacement): it is not enough for man simply to radiate and shine like the sun; he also wants, like everything that revolves around a creator of values, for his genius to be recognized.
Akhenaten overvalued the sun. Because of his excess of positivism, they soon tried to erase him from history. By contrast, immediately after Napoleon’s death, he was buried under a tropical growth of memories and legends; «humanity buries»2.
5 It would be good for a new economy to take shape through «anonymous» attribution: it would be based on the value of the contributions users make to AI models, recognized and attributed by the models themselves, through a method that would constantly evolve in its capacity for «recognition.» This would be a true attribution to the creators of values; the inaudible will be heard more clearly.
6 Movies are geared toward the human interior, «where everything is already done.» They have fewer pauses, less dead time, less time for reflection.
In this sense, disappointment can be a misreading of the pauses, commas, and periods; that is, something that always belongs to what revolves around that creator of values.
Since there are two gravities in us (cause and effect), it is important to give pauses their proper place. What a human being creates, he then also experiences outside, and the laws outside he also recreates within himself, as something that revolves around his creative center, and that is important not to misread.
On the periphery, what is created and recreated, if one wants to set it out well, naturally, has to have more pauses. Much as life is experienced with more dead, boring stretches than a film—where the attempt is to cut out all those pauses, and to express a world closer to that «interior where everything is already done»3.
